Wrong deposit cap? Missing clause? State rule changed? Those are the corrections that matter most — write to hello@leasekit.app. Confirmed state-rule errors are fixed within days and re-verified against statute.
What to include in a correction
The state, the page you saw it on, and — if you have it — the statute or ordinance that says otherwise. A citation turns a two-day fix into a same-day fix, because the claim can be checked against the source instead of re-derived from scratch. Reports without citations are still read and checked; they just take longer.
Feature requests
Commercial leases, room-specific addenda, additional state fields — the generator grows by request volume, and every request is read. Requests that repeat get built first; when several readers ask for the same addendum, it moves to the front of the queue and ships as a standard option in the generator rather than a separate template.
Other questions
Advertising and partnership inquiries, data licensing and takedown requests also go to the address above — put the topic in the first line so it reaches the right queue. There is no phone support and no physical office; every request that arrives gets a reply, usually within two business days.
Before you write
Many questions are already answered on the state pages — deposit caps, return deadlines and notice rules live in the 50-state reference, and the generator inserts the clause automatically. If your question is about a live dispute with a landlord or tenant, a rules website can explain the law but cannot represent you: local tenant unions, housing court self-help desks and attorneys are the right next step, and the state pages point to the statute you can hand them.
