LeaseKit disclosures illustration

LeaseKit is free and funded by two clearly bounded sources.

1. Advertising

Contextual ads (for example Google AdSense) may appear on pages; networks choose the ads by topic and advertisers cannot influence the generator or the state rules reference.

2. Legal template referrals

Where you need a premium, attorney-drafted version, pages may refer you to legal template services (such as LawDepot). Referral links are labeled; if you subscribe we may earn a commission at no extra cost. The free generator remains free — and its state rules are never influenced by partners.

Launch-period note

Advertising and referral programs are pending application as of launch; this page updates as the funding mix changes.

How referrals are chosen

Referral partners are picked for document quality first — state coverage, clause depth and clear pricing — and commission terms second. Partners cannot pay for placement inside the state rules reference, cannot influence what the generator prints, and are re-reviewed when their pricing or coverage changes. If a partner’s product stops being a good answer for a given lease, the referral goes even if the commission is competitive.

Questions about this page

If anything here is unclear, write to hello@leasekit.app — plain-language answers to funding questions are part of how this site earns trust.

What we do not do

No paid placements disguised as editorial, no sponsored state pages, and no selling the reference data to parties who would use it against tenants. The reference exists to make the rules legible to both sides of a rental; monetization that undermines that purpose is turned down regardless of amount.
